Tacky or Trendy: SUPERSIZED Spring Necklaces

You might call it a "statement necklace."  Marie Claire might call it a "bib necklace."  And your boyfriend might call it a "hunk of junk."  Whatever the case may be, they were hot last summer, and they are hot now.  Wear these bold necklaces with a basic white t-shirt or a sassy strapless dress-- whatever the occasion, they create a beautiful face-framing focal point. I have seen some of the *best* assortments at Forever 21, J. Crew, JCPenny and H&M!  Check out my favorites below! CAUTION: Beware of  especially heavy or sharp necklaces. Injury could result.

What's your opinion?  Tacky or trendy?

25 Signs a Guy is Too Into Himself

Fact:  Some guys would simply rather talk to their own reflection.
Ladies, the trick is to identify this before you commit.  There is [almost] nothing hotter than confidence, but remember-- there is a huge difference between self-esteem and self-inflation.  Here are 25 telltale signs you may be dealing with a narcissist.

1. You know his favorite food, color, number, but does he know yours?  Um, no.
2. You know his schedule for the next month, but he doesn't even know what you are doing today.
3. He talks 90% of the time.
4. He interrupts you if you do get the chance to talk.
5. He didn't know what to get you for Christmas or your birthday.  If he was thoughtful he'd pay attention to the little things.
6. He tells you he knows he is way better than your exes.
7. He talks about how often he "takes you on dates" when, in fact, he always expects you to drive him and pay for him.
8. He tells you that many people consider him a hero.
9. He uses his mood swings to get your attention.
10. Two words: Name dropping.
11. He tells you something about himself and then says, "Pretty cool, right?"
12. He tells you he is one of the *most humble* people he knows.  Oh my.
13. He tells you about all of the hot girls who want to be with him to show you that you are "lucky" to be with him.
14. You know his entire family history, but he still isn't sure how many siblings you have.
15. Courting a girl is a foreign concept to him.  He calls it "stupid."
16. He says you should feel blessed that he is letting you see the "real" him.
17. Something good happens?  Of course it's because of him.  Something bad happens?  It's the other guy's fault.
18. He tells you that a lot of girls are "intimidated" by his looks.
19. You notice he uses his friends.  So what? You're next, babygirl!
20. He always tells you to hold him.
21. You notice he doesn't have many guy friends.
22. Facebook behavior: He adds dozens of "friends" at a time.  He talks about his accomplishments in every status.  He doesn't personally know over 50% of his "friends."
23.  He tells you what you couldn't have accomplished if it wasn't for him.
24. He changes his plans multiple times a day and tell you about it, just for the attention.
25. You finally get to tell him about your day and..... he starts texting.

10 Funny Observations This Week

It is amazing how many funny things there are in this world that go unnoticed!  Isn't it funny that...

1. As soon as people set foot on a beach they tend to practice stunts or acrobatic tricks.

2. People like to jump in the air for pictures.  This seems to never get old.

3. If you text a person in the same room as you, you stare at them until they get it.

4. As soon as you become "Single" on Facebook people start apologizing and commenting, "Oh no, what happened?!" as if you will actually tell them over your status.

5. At the gym everyone stares but doesn't speak.   You can check people out, but you don't dare talk to them.

6. People respond to emails 2x as fast when you don't include exclamation points or emoticons.  It's like they take your tone more seriously.

7. After being asked, "How are you?" you respond, "Great, how are you?" and they don't respond.

8. Camping always sounds like a better idea than it is.  After two days you're like, "Okay, so now what?"

9. Every time someone tries to show you something on a computer, you tend to want to take over and show them something.

10. Short people always so "Omg, I'm so short!!!" but tall people never say "Omg, I'm so tall!"

Are "Center Parts" Only for Celebrities!?

Parting your hair is something automatic.  Intuitive.  Habitual.  You probably have done it the same way for years.  Not many women treat their "part" as a hairstyle or trend to be changed on a regular basis.  In fact, women are more likely to change their hair color than their part.  Celebrities are a different story.  Celebs are used to being styled and changing their look on a regular basis.  This is why, if you have not noticed by now, celebrities seem to be the majority of women rocking the "center part."  They make it look natural and trendy.  Many of us, however, feel the center part is a flash back to our days of braces, Sketchers and "pancake butt" jeans--  either that or Ozzy Osbourne.  We like to say our face "isn't the right shape" for a center part and it's "not for us."  Yet we see celebrities with all sorts of face shapes "working the middle."  What's up with this!?
Comment below and with YOUR take on this.

The Problem with Unisex Fragrances

Khloe and Lamar did it.  Calvin Klein did it.  Dolce and Gabbana did it. What's the problem with having a fragrance that both you and your man can wear?  Well let me tell you.
It's counterproductive.  Perfumes are worn to further build your appeal to those around you--like flowers and bees-- to increase your attractiveness.  Therefore they are meant to make women feel and appear more feminine, and men to appear and feel more masculine.  Hence, there is usually a noticeable difference between men's colognes and women's perfumes.  What's the point of wearing the same perfume as the hottie next to you?  You think he'll find that sexy & feminine if you're wearing the same scent as him?  Chances are, he'll see you like a bro.
XOXO,
Dylan
