I'd recommend getting the ones that are neutral shades.

Don't cut it out! They're reusable. From what I understand, you just take your pliers and squeeze on the little bead the opposite way from how its flattened to "break" it. Then it should just slide out. But if anything I know there's tutorials on youtube and stuff. I actually think the extensions are really cute and fun...when done in the right way. I say keep em in as long as you want, and the beauty of it is they can be styled with curling/straightening irons so they work for curly or straight hair!
