During the wintertime, we are often so bundled up that accessorizing with necklaces and bracelets seems pointless. After all, who is going to notice that Juicy Couture charm bracelet when its hiding under the sleeves of your thermal L.L. Bean long undies? Here's a tip: Wear accessories that will make you stand out from the get-go. What do people see right away during the wintertime? Your head. That's right. Two ways I love to accessorize in the wintertime are through 1. makeup and 2. hair accessories. Here are a few favorite hair accessories:

For the side part thing, if the headband has something only on one side like your first 3, do you think a part on the opposite side or the same side as the accessory would look best?
ReplyDeleteThat is SUCH a great question. Most people don't think about that. I think that in most cases, the accessory should go on the side without the part. Visually speaking, from the side it looks more balanced to have an accessory where there is more hair. It usually looks better to just have the plain band over your part than the accessory.
ReplyDeleteI'm like two blocks away from Notre Dame, love Irish football season:) btw, i love your headbands and eye makeup, really pretty:)
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: That is SO cool you live by ND. My boyfriend is obsessed with ND football. And thanks for the compliments! I hope that headbands stay fashionable for a long time. They are the perfect quick fix!
