2. Bring her a treat when she is studying.
3. Wait for her outside her class as a surprise (creepy? cute? it depends).
4. When you find yourself thinking about her, text her. It will show that you care.

15. When she is stressed, pull her into your lap and say, "Hey, it will be okay, I got you."

ReplyDeleteI'm a feminist and most of these things sound pretty good to me. Being a feminist does not mean we don't want to be treated nicely. It's about having an equal relationship.
ReplyDeleteI understand where you're coming from. I was thinking about the stereotypical "code" of chivalry as being more of a one-sided process. Thanks for the feedback though! It's good to hear that there's variety in each side of the spectrum :)
ReplyDeleteMost of those things seem pretty much right on... who has been ratting out our secrets?! Only thing I would say is the ice cream thing is waaaaaaaaaay off. Don't get me wrong, it's is great and all, but if a girl's day has been bad enough to require ice cream, she DOES NOT want to guzzle it in front of her boyfriend. It's either alone or with a female friend. Oh, and the "beautiful" in another language thing - a bit too transparent.
