Who doesn't LOVE Forever21? Huge selection, tons of color, and super INEXPENSIVE! Right!? You can get dresses there for anywhere between $10-$30! Well, I've been looking closely at their spring collection, and I've figured out how they manage to make a profit with such low prices. Here is their secret: When making their dresses, they take shirts and add 3" to the bottom! It's that simple. They save their money on fabric. Here are a few pictures of their so-called "dresses" to illustrate my point. Now tell me if you think that the models could bend over without showing off their flat, little, boyish-butts.
This looks like a piece of lettuce. A very small piece of lettuce.
I can already hear my dad.... "Where's the rest of it?"
I see London, I see France...
I wonder if the owner of Forever 21 is a pedafile? ... Either that or a "little person".
Is it just me, or do her legs look plastic??
What happens when the wind blows?
I call this look, "Victorian Prostitute".
I think you dropped something. Oh you can't pick it up? What???
Oh lovely, this one has some nice butt coverage in the back.
Thank you, Forever21, for teaching young women how to dress. I never knew this whole exposed-booty thing was such a hott trend.
XOXO, Dylan

but for incredibly short people...they're perfect. just because someone is really tall, or has really long legs doesn't mean that the dresses are too small for everyone. short dresses + short legs = the perfect length 9/10 times.
ReplyDeleteThat's true. I just wish they would advertise their dresses in a way that makes the fashions look how the designers intended them to look on real people. It's hard to buy a dress from the website when they give you a picture of a girl who looks like, well, that. Lol :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this article. it's so true.
ReplyDeleteThanks!! :)
ReplyDeleteI like London & France, what's wrong with whatever comes after? ;) :D
ReplyDeleteI guess nothing, if you're into that. Lol

Gotta say, I'm not a fan of forever21. From their ridiculously short skirts, to their blatant stealing of designs, to their poor quality (I swear, they dissolve in the wash sometimes), to their sometimes racist/sexist products ("Oriental Girl" pin and "Allergic to Algebra" girl's top) they are just kind of this disgusting machine of cheap, trendy, ethically crippled clothes that preys on young girls to fuel them.
ReplyDeleteI don't like forever 21...just because their stuff is cheaply made and won't hold up...I'd rather spend a little more and keep whatever I bought for a long time.... :) *same with Wet Seal* <3
